This photo taken from the top of the HECP is nearly the same shot as the photo with two buildings from the late 1940s. It is looking towards the Straits through the two view sheds that have been cleared to show what the view used to look like with no trees. The left arrow is pointing to the right rear side of the GPMTCP, most of it is behind that tree to the left of the arrow. The 1908 Ready Barracks was in the low spot directly below, where the large tree with the sun shining on it is. The Barancas Building was in the group of trees across the road behind the fence. The grass field on top of the cistern is to the right of that in both photos.
